Low-priced gas cylinders in Sharjah from November

In line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the close follow up of General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company For Distribution (Adnoc-FOD) will start, as of November 15, the second phase of selling domestic gas cylinders in Sharjah at reduced prices. This will be in coordination with the relevant authorities in the emirate.

Cylinders will be distributed through six service stations of Adnoc in different areas of Sharjah, including Al Ghail, Al Dhaid, Muwailih, Al Dayjour, Al Mirqab and Maliha.

Consumers will be able to purchase gas cylinders using Rahal Card, which will be issued in 12 service stations free of charge. The company will receive applications and issue the 'E-Gas' cards in 12 stations.

UAE citizens applying for e-Gas cards should submit their applications, supported by copies of their passports and Khulasat Al Qaid (Family Book). The card should then be charged with a minimum Dh200.

Adnoc started recently selling 25-pound gas cylinders at Dh20 per unit in Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
